Dearest Friend,

The journey of “Limitless People” began with a musical spark—an idea that Sydney Jones had in 2022 about celebrating identity, freedom, and infinite possibilities. In 2023, Sydney and I met through the “Songwriting for Film & TV” course at Berklee College of Music. And when she shared her idea with me, we instantly knew that we were meant to finish it together.

When Sydney shared her first draft of the chorus and first verse with me, I was blown away. “When love strikes our world, we are limitless people / And nothing can break our limitless freedom,” she wrote—and I was convinced that the world needed to hear the message of this song. And the more I learned about Sydney’s creative vision and her passion for uplifting others, the more I wanted to pour all my heart, mind, and soul into making this song extraordinary.

Our collaboration wasn’t just about writing music: it was about sharing our stories, brainstorming endlessly, and building something greater than the sum of its parts. From late-night FaceTime calls to creating the “Limitless People Production Group” with our mix engineer (and Berklee classmate!), Steven Cole Manning, we put our whole selves into this project.

Every note, every lyric, every mix, and every revision was designed to amplify the song’s central message: that love and unity make us limitless. (For instance, my rap verse, which revolved around the virtues of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, humility, and self-discipline, was my answer to the question of what it takes to be limitless people.)

Finally, after many months of collaboration and creativity, Sydney and I met in person in December 2024—right here in New Jersey! We couldn’t believe the synchronicity: two people in a global course living just 45 minutes apart! It felt like destiny. That meeting became the final puzzle piece for “Limitless People”, which we now joyfully release to kick off 2025 with hope, love, and empowerment.

Our earnest hope and prayer is that this song vibes with you, inspires you to embrace your infinite potential, and “sparshes” (or “touches”) your heart. So what are you waiting for?! Gather your loved ones, hit “Play”, and sing (and rap!) with us! After all, isn’t that the true purpose of music: to unify us, uplift us, and urge us to leave the world better than we found it?
