This year’s online event will spotlight how VOSAP Igniters, Collegiate members, and young volunteers around the world (whom we affectionately call "VOSAPians") are: • Using advocacy and storytelling to change how society sees specially-abled people • Leveraging technology, research, and AI to advance accessibility and assistive solutions • Building toward a bold, long-term vision for healthcare and empowerment

Along the way, Sparsh will be sharing inspirational messages and performing a special set of songs that weave through five presentations in the program—from hope and identity to destiny, resilience, and global impact.

Whether you’re a student, parent, educator, ally, or just curious about disability inclusion, you’re warmly invited to tune in, bring your loved ones, and be inspired by the next generation of changemakers!

I was grateful to honor the legacy of Dr. George D'Annunzio, former Chair of the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities (NJID)’s Board of Directors, by singing “Blessings” by Laura Story Music and Nathan Nockels.🎤✨ His #selfless contributions continue to bless the people around him even after his passing.🙏 My friends, let’s pay it forward by choosing #kindness toward each and every person we meet!💝

I had the honor to perform at the Edison Township’s Diwali Festival Celebration. It was so heartwarming to receive a standing ovation from the audience and a bow from the emcee!

I also had the opportunity to meet with Jay Sean, Councilman Viru Patel, Councilman Joe Coyle, and many other dignitaries and friends at this event.

The Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities unveiled the new website, brochures, and merchandise for the 2024 Purple Fest with great enthusiasm and excitement! Also present on the occasion were Subhash Phal Dessai, Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare, Shubhash Chandra, IAS, Secretary of Social Welfare, Guruprasad Pawaskar, State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities and Taha Haaziq, Secretary, Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities.
